Tommy Hare + Dom Glynn @ Green Note

Tommy Hare + Dom Glynn @ Green Note, London. October 16th

Roundtable Collective presents… TOMMY HARE and DOM GLYNN

TOMMY HARE

It’s been my life’s work mastering the great American musical traditions of blues, rock & roll, country and soul. In pursuit of this goal, I’ve had the privilege of performing to audiences all over the world and alongside some of my heroes.

You can come and see me do my thing with a host of great musicians, where we hope to touch some of the magic of old with the classics and make a little of our own with original material.

Tommy

With support from DOM GLYNN

Hailing from Birmingham, UK, singer-songwriter Dom Glynn cut his teeth in the midlands making a name for himself as a troubadour marked by an arresting honest. His song-writing draws clear inspiration from the likes of Folk and Blues legends Bob Dylan, Rory Gallagher and Townes Van Zandt. Songs, which in taking on a thematic focus of religion an existential frustration, drive the emotional roller-coaster to braver depths, leaving some audience members questioning their reality. His debut E.P. ‘Waster’s Blues’ drops August 9th via Spiritual Records.

Crooked Weather @ Green Note

Crooked Weather @ Green Note, London. May 19th

With the future of British Folk in their hands and a new album in tow, Roundtable Collective presents Crooked Weather’s own brand music.

Crooked Weather are a rock infused folk band, based out of a tragic mustard 1979 campervan. They hail from the depths of East Yorkshire, with the lilting harmonies of Holly & Will at the core. Their original music, steeped in the folk revival of the late 60’s, has a raw, modern edge, augmented by Tom and Dave: a fierce rhythm section.

Building up a steady reputation for their unpredictably dynamic live shows, they’ve supported the likes of Jeffrey Lewis, Micheal Chapman, Mike Heron (Incredible String Band), Jim Jones, Dick Gaughan, Roddy Woomble & Bridget St. John.

“Crooked Weather are a little different, their unique blend of classic and new folk makes their album Long Garden a delight. Melodic and magnificent, this music has so much heart it’s alive.” – Shoplifter’s Union

“They are indie meets world music meets traditional British folk. Think a contemporary Incredible String Band with a 21st century mindset.” – Sid Griffin (Bob Dylan Biographer // BBC Radio 6 Music)

Copper Viper @ Green Note

Copper Viper album launch @ Green Note, London. April 6th

We are extremely excited to announce our first ticketed event will be to host the album launch of the inimitable Copper Viper at Green Note in Camden on April 6th.

Copper Viper recorded their debut album “Cut It Down, Count The Rings” at Bear Creek Studio in Woodinville WA, USA with platinum-selling producer Ryan Hadlock (The Lumineers, Brandi Carlile). Mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Gavin Lurssen (“O Brother, Where Art Thou?” Soundtrack, Robert Plant & Alison Krauss), the album flows smoothly between lyrical ballads and foot-stomping barn-stormers, mixing melancholy, hope, tension and joy in equal measure.

Yep. Pretty exciting. We have had the pleasure to listen ahead of the release and can confirm that this little number will be a long time friend to many lucky music appreciators the world over. It will be available at the launch on either CD or vinyl.

We are also very happy to announce that Ann Liu Cannon will be guest performer at the event. In addition to all these fantastic ingredients, Green Note is a venue very close to our hearts, so we are really looking forward to this one - see you there!

Hurry tickets are moving fast - https://www.greennote.co.uk/production/copper-viper/

Perkelt @ The New Adelphi Club

Perkelt @ The New Adelphi Club, Hull. March 16th

Winners of the Best Live Act in the UK Exposure Music Awards 2014 and finalists of the Best Live Act International Bastaard Fantasy Awards in Holland 2017. PerKelt draw inspiration from pagan spirituality, ancient folklore melodies and poetry, and their inner urge to play fast, dance and have as much fun on the stage as the audience in front…

They use their instruments and skills to the real limits; with the sound of flutes, fiddles, tribal drums, guitars, harp and their haunting vocals. Stirring in the pagan poetry and enchanting atmosphere, they bring the genre of their own, best described as “pagan speedfolk”.
